WEEKLY UPDATE WITH IAN WHITE

TODAY’S update covers the period Sunday, December 10 through to Saturday, December 16.

As we are fast approaching 2024, let’s take a quick look at the main FNL 2023/24 table.

Leading the way is Shoscombe with 9,509pts. They are only 8pts ahead of second place Olivia Grace. In third place it’s Mark’s Wolves and they are 162pts behind our current leader. The top ten is current covered by 452pts. At the bottom of the table, it is also quite tight. Sat in the Barry New Bottom Spot is Liv Shrimphound with -1,118pts. They are 16pts adrift from their nearest rival Hard Scrabble. The bottom ten is covered by 393pts.

Don’t forget the substitution window shuts a week today at midnight on Sunday December 31.

There is now an online form on my website which is the easiest way to submit your subs. You can also email or text them to the FNL Helpdesk (contact details at the bottom of this update). If you send them by post please note the new address The Oaks, Leach Road, Chard, Somerset, TA20 1GH. If you have sent them to the old address don’t worry, they are still coming to me. I have mentioned this before but if you are sat there and you can’t make up your mind about making any subs because you are so low down the pecking order, then just take a look at the Manager of the Month top three below. All of them are outside the top 100. So, if you think you can’t win top or bottom then don’t forget that Manager of the Month in some ways is a separate competition.
