Ks win keeps Town in mix

CHATHAM Town moved to within five points of leaders Hornchurch with a 3-1 victory over Kingstonia­n.

Jack Evans’ 10th goal of the season the put the Chats in front before Luke Stokoe levelled for the Ks on his home debut.

The Chats upped the ante and restored their lead through Kareem Isiaka before veteran Chris Dickson wrapped it up with his 15th of the season.

Three points and one place further back are Enfield Town, who won the A10 derby at Cheshunt 2-1.

Sam Youngs got the Towners underway with his 18th goal of the campaign before an own goal doubled their advantage.

Nnamdi Nwachuku pulled one back from the penalty spot seven minutes later, but the Ambers couldn’t find an equaliser.

Boxing Day’s big winners were Hastings United after Davide Rodari’s hat-trick helped them to a 5-0 win at Folkestone Invicta.
