BORO EXIT ALTERS IT ALL AGAIN
WELCOME to the latest update of this Fantasy Non-League season. Today’s update covers the period from Sunday January 14 through to Saturday January 20.
First of all, substitution news. I have activated all the substitutions that I have received. You can tell your changes have been implicated by the [S] symbol after your team’s name.
If you think I have missed your substitutions, then please contact the FNL 2023/24 Helpdesk, contact details are at the bottom of this update. (You only have until this Wednesday January 31).
Sadly, we have a second club that has resigned from their respective league. That is two this month let’s hope it is the last this season.
The second club is Nuneaton Borough from the Southern Premier League Central.
If you have this team in your selection you will need to replace them. Nuneaton have been picked by 286 of you so this is going to be a major operation, compared to Marske United. Nuneaton’s final league game was a 3-0 away defeat at St Ives on Saturday January 13. After that final game they had 159 FNL points. So, you need to pick one from the following five teams:
1. Stamford AFC
2. Stourbridge
3. Halesowen Town
4. Hitchin Town
5. Stratford Town
A quick reminder about Marske United, you have eight teams to pick one from:
1. Atherton Collieries
2. Bradford Park Avenue
3. Gainsborough Trinity
4. Stafford Rangers
5. Lancaster City
6. Workington
7. Ilkeston Town
8. Ashton United
There is a form for both clubs on the FNL Website so you can either use that, email, or text the FNL 2023/24 Helpdesk. You can tell your change has been made because there will be a [*] after your team’s name for Marske United and a [/] for Nuneaton Borough. Please note I have extended the deadline for the change of both teams to Thursday February 29. After the deadline I will make the changes for you to ensure the competitions integrity.
Remember this could affect your chance of winning Manager of the Month because you are currently running with one team less and if you also have either team as a joker that means you are two teams short.
