HOW PLAY 1000GBP.COM

1000GBP.com is very easy to play. All you have to do is check our available competitions, register as a player on our website, at www.1000GBP.com, purchase a question pack and select a category. Each question has four possible answers.

The time option you choose will determine how many points you win and if you correctly answer the randomly selected football question before the clock runs down, you’ll be entered into the chosen competition.

Every point you win earns you an additional place in the draw and there are seven draws across the week!

Each competition has a specific number of days and closes at midnight prior to the draw with winners randomly selected on the next working day by our independent partner, RandomPicker.com and with the results announced shortly afterwards on our website and social media.

The question categories in The Ultimate Football Quiz include Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and the England team and we’ll be adding many more in the next few weeks and months.

Over the next few weeks we look forward to sharing the results and many stories of the winners with you in this paper and we hope you’ll join our growing community by registering now at www.1000GMP.com

MAGIC MONEY FOR THE MAGPIES

Colney Heath FC have already been awarded £2,552 during the trial period of 1000GBP.com as a direct result of their supporters playing the quiz and nominating the club as their preferred Non-League team.

Based at the Recreation Ground in Hertfordshire, the Magpies play in the Spartan South Midlands Football League Premier Division and chairman Richard Smith is very pleased with club’s involvement and especially the money raised so far:

“We’ve already won more than £2,500 playing with 1000GBP.com with our fans answering questions on football trivia,” he said. “That money is very useful to us as Step 5 club, going into facilities, the ground, the pitch and the future success of our club.”

Another recent winner was Buckhurst Hill FC who play in the Essex Senior League. Their chairman Simon Cornwell told us: “Buckhurst Hill FC are delighted that one of our supporters has won the top prize this week through our partnership with 1000GBP and their weekly sports quiz. The £500 to the club is fantastic and will help support all we do for the community.”

West Essex FC play in the same league and several recent wins have taken their total donations to £1,109 as manager Dan Reading, pictured left, appreciates.

“We’re a small community club and the funding struggles are real and all the running costs associated are on the up,” he commented. “1000GBP.com have got this really super smart idea for funding and last week the club made nearly £500 and so did some of our members so everyone’s happy.”

1000GBP - SUPPORTING OUR NON-LEAGUE CLUBS

The founder of 1000GBP.com is London based businessman and football supporter Stefan Bucovineanul-Voloseniuc. He’s been enormously encouraged by the early reaction to the new project.

“We created 1000GBP.com because we know these are challenging times for many of the smaller clubs in the pyramid and we wanted to come up with a way of raising money for Non-League clubs whilst also creating a challenging and fun football quiz.

“Our hope is that this exciting new venture will help many clubs to purchase additional equipment or assist with their infrastructure as well as generating competition between supporters to see who has the best football knowledge each week!”

In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding to the question categories and aiming to increase the number and levels of prize funds as we hope to make 1000GBP.com Britain’s most popular football quiz.
