MARINE local hero Bobby Grant clinched victory against play-off contenders Guiseley with a breathtaking long-range strike that ignited the Crosby faithful into euphoria.
In the 78th minute, he seized on a poorly cleared ball near the halfway line and unleashed an audacious, curling effort that initially appeared wide but spectacularly swerved back on target, leaving goalkeeper Oliver Battersby helpless as the ball nestled in the net.
The triumph not only fortified the Mariners’ hold on fourth place but also denied their nearest rivals crucial points.
