PREMIER SOUTH leaders Farnham Town are back to winning ways after Tuesday’s draw at Knaphill ended their record run of 25 straight victories.

An Owen Dean hat-trick and one goal from Nick Flatman gave Farnham a 4-0 win over visitors AFC Croydon Athletic.

A 92nd-minute goal by Bailey Ellis following a strike by Coby Acquaye gave basement side Colliers Wood United a 2-1 home win over Camberley Town.

Goals by George Mackie and George Onwusonye gave Sheerwater a 2-0 win over visitors Redhill.

Kyle Eakin netted for hosts Spelthorne Sports as they beat Tooting & Mitcham United 1-0.

Balham beat visitors Epsom & Ewell

2-0 with James Anderson and Jack Banks netting.

Despite going down to ten men when Jake Boyer received a second yellow, hosts Cobham beat Abbey Rangers 2-1 with Reis Stanislaus and Derick Hayford scoring.

Elsewhere, Sandhurst Town beat visitors Guildford City 3-0 while Alton were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Tadley Calleva.

Jersey Bulls’ home game against Horley Town was cancelled after their opponents did not board the flight for the 4pm kick off.

Premier North leaders Rayners Lane beat Wembley 5-1 with a Bradley Bubb double and one goal each by Josh Williams, Frank Keita and Elliott Buchanan.

Level on points and having played the same number of games, but second on goal difference are Flackwell Heath who trounced visitors Milton United 6-1 with braces for Wiktor Makowski and Matthew Ayres and a goal each by Harrison Mepham and Jethro Odumosu.

Wallingfor­d & Crowmarsh lost 4-0 at Bedfont Sports with Makael Scott hitting two goals and Jake Beck and substitute Jared Myers one each.

Craig Gott’s penalty on the hour and Louis Johnson’s injury time finish saw Bishop’s win 2-0 at North Shields.

Shildon came from behind to beat Heaton Stanningto­n 4-1, Billy Greulich-Smith scoring either side of half-time, Max Allen and Luke Spalding with the Railwaymen’s other goals.

Dan Hill’s second-half double gave Carlisle City a 2-1 win at Birtley Town, who led at the break through Matty Ward’s 39th minute goal.

Boro Rangers edged a seven-goal thriller that included two penalties with Whitley Bay, Callum Hickman with a late winner.

PADIHAM forced their way into the play-offs with a storming 7-0 victory over bottom club Skelmersda­le United.

Bobby Carter led the way with four of the goals with Ben Hoskin, Joel Melia and Freddie Machell also on the scoresheet for the Storks. And to cap a miserable afternoon for the visitors, keeper Ben Barnes was sent off when the tally was five for handling the ball outside his area.

It was Chadderton who dropped out of the top five after they lost 2-1 at

Lower Breck where goals from Michael Fitzgerald and James Murphy cancelled out Tyler Berry’s effort.

Bury lost top spot after they were held to a 2-2 draw by Charnock Richard for whom Brad Carsley scored a double with Oliver Jepson and William Reeves scoring for the home side.

Wythenshaw­e Town took top spot following their 2-0 win at Prestwich Heys, Tom Bentham and George Boyd with the goals.

Hot on their heels are neighbours Wythenshaw­e who saw off Colne 2-0 with Bryan Ly and Adam Davies on the scoresheet.

Lowly Burscough staged a dramatic fightback to earn a 3-3 draw at home to

Ramsbottom United. Oumar Camara, Henri Ogunby and Maine Walder guided the visitors to a 3-0 lead but the Linnets hit back through Harvey Sample, Stephen Rigby and Callum Sandle.

GARFORTH TOWN hit eight of the best to put Maltby Main to the sword and further cement their place in the play-off places.

Sam Barker’s second-half hat-trick was the highlight of a goal frenzy after the interval, as Jordan Emery and Matt Antcliff braces added to Jason Davis’ well-taken strike in the 8-0 rout.

Keeping Garforth third, victory keeps Paul Marshall’s men ahead of rivals Rossington Main, 1-0 victors at Frickley Athletic through Jack Harrison’s decider, and Albion Sports – who were humbled by Oliver Norman’s hat-trick in a 3-0 reverse at Tadcaster Albion. Golcar United had no issues in a 3-0 away success over Eccleshill United, thanks to Daniel Naidole’s opener before the break, George Doyle’s insurance goal after the hour mark and Adam Field’s clincher a minute before the end.

Emley were stunned a week on from their FA Vase quarter-final heartbreak, going down to a 2-1 defeat on home turf against

Silsden.

The Pewits left it too late to respond to Casey Stewart’s free kick and Luke Brooksbank’s powerful drive, but still sit top by six points with two games in hand.

Thackley and Bottesford Town shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw after Joshua Fraiwald’s last-gasp leveller, a scoreline repeated by Hallam and Goole.

MIDLAND LEAGUE

HALF-TIME alarm bells appeared to jolt Stourport Swifts into action as the play-off chasers eventually overcame Whitchurch Alport 3-2. Quentin Townsend’s side had been sluggish in the opening 45 and trailed in the 34th minute when Callum Knowles deftly glanced home George Carpenter’s cross from close range.

However, Ben Tilbury levelled with a retaken penalty seven minutes after half-time when Craig Pritchard was judged to have blocked an Aaron Birch blast with his arm.

Tilbury’s second arrived in the 59th minute, dinking past the onrushing Jack Sheward following Matt Harland’s lifted pass and the points looked safe when Sheward’s clearance against his own defender Liam Madeley trickled into the net 18 minutes from time. Whitchurch refused to lie down, Harry Bower bustling past R’Mar Murray to fire in low across goal from Macauley Taylor’s raking cross-field pass a minute into added time.

The race for the Premier Division’s golden boot hotted up as Dan Smith’s hat-trick fired title-chasing Lichfield City to a 4-0 win over Atherstone Town, while Joe Cuff bagged four as Shifnal Town saw off rock-bottom Bewdley Town 6-1.

Isai Marselia notched a hat-trick as Romulus came through a nine-goal thriller with Darlaston Town, although it took a winner from Sam Paddock to win it 5-4.

PREMIER DIVISION title chasers Worcester City moved closer to the championsh­ip thanks to a Kyle Belmonte penalty which, added to Elliott Hartley’s first-half opening goal gave them a 3-2 victory at Hereford Pegasus.

City are a point behind leaders Corsham Town – but have five games in hand. Corsham won 3-1 at Wantage Town

when an Owen Humphries double was followed by a Matt Jones goal.

Goals by Craig Norman and Ethan Lewis followed by an 83rd-minute Andy Lewis penalty gave Cinderford Town a 3-2 victory over visitors Tuffley Rovers.

Braces by Toby Nicholl and Josh Willis saw Pershore Town win 4-2 at Hereford Lads Club. Two goals by Alfie Presley and one each from Louis Spalding and Tommy Oulridge earned Royal Wootton Bassett Town a 4-0 win over visitors Brimscmbe & Thrupp.

Joshua Jenkins, Shea Bennington-Manners, Jonathan Walker and Loui Ward netted for Roman Glass St George

in their 4-2 victory over Mangotsfie­ld United.

Two goals by Shiyak Sutherland including a penalty and one from Jack Smith gave hosts Slimbridge a 3-1 win over Fairford Town. A double by Ollie Barnes following Dan Stoneman’s opening goal saw Westfields see off visitors Lydney Town 3-0. Thornbury Town and Highworth Town drew 1-1.
