SKEGNESS Town ousted hosts

Lincoln United 3-1 in their Premier North play-off semi-final, with Kieran Wressell, Scott Floyd and Cenk Acar finding the back of the net.

In the other semi, a Halim Bangura goal earned Loughborou­gh Students a 1-0 win over visiting Melton Town.

Two goals in two minutes late in the second half gave Wellingbor­ough Town a 2-1 victory over home side Sherwood Colliery in the Premier Division Champions Cup Final.

In Premier North, Heanor Town beat visitors Eastwood CFC 3-1 thanks to a double by Jamie Sleigh and one goal from Jake Carlisle.

Racing Club Warwick beat visitors

March Town United 4-0 in their Premier South play-off semi-final, with Simeon Colbourne, Josh Willis, Callum Carsley and Luke Shearer on target.

The other semi saw Aylestone Park held 2-2 by visitors St Neots Town before the hosts won 7-6 on penalties.

Leam Howards delivered the goods for hosts Easington Sports as they beat

Histon 1-0.

Desborough Town won 2-1 at Godmanches­ter Rovers with Faruqh Usman bagging a brace but still finish bottom.

Second-from-bottom Leicester Nirvana lost 4-1 at home to Newport Pagnell, for whom Dan Walker helped himself to a hat-trick, an own goal adding the gloss.

On Thursday, two from Cosmin Capatina and one from Silvano Obeng earned hosts Bugbrooke St Michaels a 3-2 victory over Godmanches­ter.

Meanwhile, Deeping Rangers this week confirmed the permanent appointmen­t of Johnny Alflatt as manager. Alflatt, who ran Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Division One North side Swaffham Town for two and a half seasons before stepping down in December, replaces Luke Hipwell and Scott Bogusz, who left in late February.

Elsewhere, Sleaford chairman Dean Williams has stood down after three years. Rex Oliver will be acting chair.
