Award for diving company

-

A SMALL specialist diving company based on Mull has picked up an award from the Crown Estates after only two years in business.

The company, MDive, has grown rapidly since it started trading in 2013.

With 15 staff, it provides a whole range of diver services around the west coast of Scotland.

With clients from across the aquaculture sector, they also provide salvage, retrieval, mooring inspection and repairs.

Continued plans to invest in staff development and new equipment, will see real opportunities to expand their range of services and develop a wider range of clients.

Commenting on its success, the company’s commercial director, Murdo Smith, said:

‘MDive has grown rapidly over the past few years and our continued investment in our staff and equipment has enabled us to widen our services and ensure that we meet the needs of our growing client base.

‘ We recognise that, as a small company working from Mull, it is vital we show commitment to our staff and that working together we can build a stronger more successful business over the coming years. This recognition of our achievement to date, and of our plans for the future, is testament to the hard work of all of those who have played their part in MDive over these past years.’
