New team at Oban Dental Care
DR MUSTAFA Mustafa attended Poznan Medical University in Poland, qualifying as a dentist in 1997, and, after a five-year comprehensive speciality programme in orthodontics, gained the title of Specialist in Orthodontics in 2006. During this period Dr Mustafa attended a research and PhD programme at the orthodontics department and he further was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD in Orthodontics) in June 2006. In 2007 Dr Mustafa moved to the UK where has been practising as a specialist in orthodontics. He has twice been the proud recipient of a prestigious dental award related to a yearly orthodontic competition organised by the British Orthodontic Society, called ‘Against the Odds’. Dr Mustafa’s cases were considered ‘best treated case of the year’ in 2011 and 2012, as the orthodontic treatment he provided was life- changing for the patient. In 2013, he gained a post- graduate diploma in lingual orthodontics from Warwick University, England, and has gained a lot of education and experience by attending local and international courses and conferences in orthodontics and lingual orthodontics. He is a member of British Orthodontic Society, British Lingual Orthodontic Society, World Federation of Orthodontics and American Association of Orthodontics. Dr Mustafa has a monthly clinic at Oban Dental Care, 17 Lochside Street PA34 4HP, where he welcomes both NHS and private patients for orthodontic treatment.
