The overall sheep champion was Sam MacKenzie’s black-faced ewe, whose father was last year’s champion. The same sheep was the overall show champion.
In the horse and pony class, Highland pony Ruby of Sunnyneuk was the overall champion, accompanied by owner Kirsty Mann.
Gregor Innes’ Ayam Cemani cockerel was a champion in the poultry section.
The afternoon entertainment included displays from Shropshire company Hawkeye Falconry.
The Clan Scotland cycle stunt team wowed the crowd with an array of impressive stunts and jumps.
There was also an open dog show and a variety of handicrafts and stalls such as face painting, Lochaber Beekeepers’ Association, a Viking stall, refreshment tent and a barbecue. Elizabeth Flemming, treasurer for the show, said: ‘ We were quite lucky with the weather and had a good turnout. ‘There was certainly more livestock this year and this year for the first time we had poultry classes, which were well supported. ‘The horse and pony classes returned after a few years of not having them as well.’ Commentator Angus MacKay said that this year there was the ‘finest show of livestock this show has ever seen’.
