POLICE FILES

POLICE in Fort William are appealing for any information in connection with the following incidents: LAST Friday night (June 10) a yellow dumper truck was driven away from its site at Lundavra. The vehicle was abandoned on Lundavra Road. Around 7.15pm on Wednesday June 1, a minor road traffic collision occurred involving a Dacia Duster and Ford Juga on the A830 near Lochaber High School. A third vehicle was close by at the time and the driver may be able to help with inquiries. Lochaber Police are appealing to the public to remain vigilant in connection with reports of bogus callers.

Several reports and incidents involving conmen and pressurised selling techniques have been filed over the last few weeks.

A number of people and vehicles have been traced and dealt with, and one has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for offences.
