Results from Fort William Golf Club

MEN: On Sunday June 5 the senior June medal was played with the following result: 1 Henry MacDonald net 66 (79 - 13); 2 Stewart Duncan net 67 (82 – 15); 3 Willie McCann net 68 (81 - 13).

The first and second rounds of the club championship were played over the weekend of June 11 and 12. The leading scores after the two rounds are - Lorne Ross 147 (73 + 74); Steven Jamieson 153 (78 + 75); David Matheson 155 (73 + 82); Eric Wallace 156 (81 + 75); David MacPherson 156 (81 + 75).

The final two rounds takes place over the weekend June 18 and 19.

Ladies: On Tuesday June 7 a medal and eclectic competition was played with the following result: 1 Ann Lovatt net 70 (96 – 26); 2 Kathleen Leitch net 71 (87 – 16); 3 Helen Brian net 73 (93 – 20).

On Sunday June 12 the SLGA Brooch competition was played with the following result: 1 Kay Jerram net 68 (92 – 24); 2 Ann Lovatt net 69 (95 – 26); 3 Iona Cameron net 73 (92 – 19).
