Family favourites Funbox return to Skye and Fort William with their new

-

ture – Animal Magic. Whether you roar, squeak, flap or swim, it’s time for some fun with Anya, Gary, Kevin and Bonzo the Dog (formerly of The Singing Kettle). There is silliness and songs galore in this exciting new show and, of course, keys to find to open the Funbox, which has everything you need to sing a song or have an adventure and – who knows? – you might even be needed to help on stage too! ‘It’s so exciting to be returning to Skye and Fort William with this new show,’ says Anya. ‘ We always get a fantastic welcome from the crowd and we can’t wait to visit the Aros Centre. It’s a new venue for us. ‘ We love being able to bring Funboxto the highlands.’ Animal Magic is the crazy gang’s fifth tour since setting up last year. ‘When The Singing Kettle came to an end we were devastated but when it became clear we couldn’t take on the company or the name we never considered doing anything else,’ Anya continues. ‘We love what we do too much and we felt it was vital to keep a show like this going, so Funbox was born.’ This year sees them touring across the length and breadth of Scotland with not only Animal Magic , but also Superheroes.

‘It’s fantastic to be so busy,’ adds Kevin. ‘ We also have a third show; Pirate Party, which will be going to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. We are even venturing across the border into England for the first time.’

With help from their friends Fluffy and Flossie the Funsters and classic songs as Down In The Jungle, Three Craws and Bear Hunt, along with catchy new tunes, Animal Magic is an exciting singalong experience for families and friends of all ages – from nought to 90.

Don’t forget to go dressed as your favourite animal or bird.
