Ireland comes to Oban The Galway Boy MIKE DENVER

With his full band, comes to Corran Halls Oban this Saturday

HE WAS voted No 1 Entertainer of the Year 2016 and No 1 Album of the Year ( Cut Loose) at the ICMA Awards in RTE Earlier this year.

From Ireland, Mike Denver, known as 'The Galway Boy', is one of Ireland's top entertainers, having this year celebrated 13 years in the entertainment scene. He is regarded as having the best band for dancing with a two and a half-hour high energy show featuring all of his hits.

Mike Denver is well aware that, for the people who come to his concerts, all they want is a good night of entertainment and that's what he provides.

Mike has recorded 14 albums and four DVDS to date and it is from them he picks his programme for the night. His new album is Cut

Loose, which reached No 1 in the Irish album charts earlier this year, and he has a live DVD which he recorded in The TF in Castlebar and which will be out for release in November.

Mike and his band are currently in the middle of a very busy year playing concerts in theatres and hotels across the country.

Mike's dancing weekend takes place in the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, on Friday November 25 with special guest Robert Mizzell and on Saturday November 26 with special guest Johnny Brady and Sunday afternoon dancing from 3pm to 5pm with Mike Denver and his full band,

Mike Starts his nineday Scottish concert tour today (Thursday November 10) with special guests Gerry Guthrie and Caitlin. He will be in concert today at the Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow, tomorrow (Friday, November 11) at the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, on Saturday at the Corran Halls in Oban, on Sunday at the Whitehall Theatre in Dundee, Tuesday November 15 at the Guild Hall in Preston, on Wednesday November 16 at the Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries, on Thursday and Friday, November 17 and 18 in the Edencourt Theatre, Inverness, and finishing up on Saturday November 19 at the Thainstone Centre in Inverurie.
