Easdale
PARENTS joined pupils of Easdale School for breakfast on Thursday last week to find out about what the children have been learning.
Class teacher Mairi Livingstone reported there were lots of healthy foods to choose from, and she thanked Mrs MacKechnie and Mrs MacLarty for helping to set up the kitchen and hall, and to Tesco for donating the food.
Ms Livingstone said: ‘ We gave a short presentation to parents on health and wellbeing, then we set off on our daily mile walk. Afterwards, everyone went back inside and had the opportunity to see maths and language resources and the gym was set up for adults to join in.
‘We also tested them on problem solving. We think that all parents and children enjoyed the morning.’
