RA Clement - rising to the challenge for charities

Fiona McGlynn is one of the four partners running R A Clement Associates. Having graduated from Glasgow University and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with a Glasgow firm, Fiona joined R A Clement Associates in 1991, becoming a partner in 1999. Although she has specific responsibilities within the firm for HR and “Charity & Audit” clients, she also works to meet business and individuals’ needs for tax and accounting advice. Nowadays this includes advising on the challenges they face in planning for the future and dealing with the current economic environment. The charity and audit team deals with an increasingly complex regulated sector, with recent major changes set to affect many clients no matter how small or large. Fiona said: “With over 100 clients in the charity sector, we have built up the expertise to enable us to assist clients of all sizes through the challenges ahead.”
