Coastguard walk for Ali

A TEAM of volunteer coastguards from Oban will walk 174 miles in two-days in memory of a former colleague.

Ali MacNab died in January 2016 aged 48 after a battle with cancer. He was brought up in Edinbane on the Isle of Skye and later lived and worked an Oban.

His colleagues will now embark on a gruelling walk from Oban to Edinbane in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
