Town gets in the mood for Mòd

RENOWNED Gaelic singer, Mòd Gold Medallist and choir conductor Chrissie MacEachan cut the ribbon to officially open the Mòd Shop in Fort William High Street.

The Mòd Shop will be open three days a week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday -from 11am to 3pm until the beginning of October when it will open five days a week.

The shop will be trading throughout the Royal National Mòd, being held in Fort William this year, and will close on Saturday October 21, the last day of the festival.

The shop will help to raise funds to support the Mòd visit to the town in October.
