Like any family, values lie at the heart of who we are. We help the boys and girls who live in our Boarding Houses to live up to these values in all that they do both as children and throughout their adult lives.

We have two boarding houses, Erskine House for girls and Dean Park House for boys. Each house has space for up to 30 boarders and boarding with us is like being a member of an extended family. Boarders often forge deep and lasting friendships and the relationship between children and staff is based on trust, respect and genuine affection.

We offer more than 300 clubs and societies as well as wide-ranging opportunities in sport, music and drama, outdoor education, trips and community involvement, all with the intention of helping your child discover their talents, learn or explore something new, have fun and make new friends.

A recent study by the Care Commission awarded both houses an ‘Excellent’ grading for the standard of care and support they provide. This recognises the level of care and individual attention each child receives from the Housemaster, Housemistress, resident tutors and resident matron.
