Oban RNLI prize draw

OBAN RNLI fundraising volunteers will be in Tesco this weekend offering people a last chance to win £1,000 in a prize draw. All money raised from ticket sales will go to help save lives at sea and the draw will be held at the lifeboat station, on Saturday September 16.

A spokesperson for Oban lifeboat fundraising group said: ‘A big thank you to everyone who has already bought a ticket.

‘We really appreciate the help staff at the local Tesco store and the CalMac ferry terminal have given us; thanks also to the army of local supporters.’

Tickets cost £1 each. The fantastic star prize has been kindly donated by John Macalister (Oban) Ltd. Prizes include dinner for two at The Manor House, Oban, and a Champagne afternoon tea for two at The Airds Hotel, Port Appin.
