Oban

MORE than 140 works of art by Oban and Lorn artists are on display in the Cadet Hall in Tweeddale Street until Saturday September 9.

The exhibition opened with a gathering last Friday evening of artists and friends, at which Jennifer Shaw was awarded the Alba Cup for the most popular work. There was an excellent attendance and sales were brisk with art lovers keen to get first sight and perhaps to purchase the new works.

The exhibition is open 10.30am to 5.30pm each day, admission is free and all works are for sale.
