There are prizes to be won in Hope2Oban treasure hunt

OBAN youth organisation Hope2Oban is calling for people living in the Oban High School catchment area to get hunting following the launch of its golden leaf treasure hunt last month.

Organised by fine artist Lucy Gray and Hope2Oban, the idea behind the hunt is to raise the profile of the Christian organisation and its work in Oban High School.

Some 200 leaves have been pressed, gilded, laminated and then hidden throughout the school catchment area to be found by the public. Once found, the leaves can be exchanged for prizes at Atlantis Leisure.

The leaf hunt has been running throughout September, with many people sharing pictures of their find on Facebook and Instagram.
