Firefighters climb Ben for Gary

TWO FORT William firemen donned their full kit and hiked up Ben Nevis last Friday to raise money for their friend’s stem cell fund.

Shaun Graham and Marty MacKenna raised £530 towards the £50,000 needed to send their friend and Multiple Sclerosis (MS) sufferer Gary Campbell to Mexico for stem cell treatment.

Gary, 29, was diagnosed with primary progressive MS five months ago. His friends and family have since launched a fundraising campaign so he can receive hematopoietic stem cell treatment in the hope of combating the illness.
