THE WAY visitors and potential clients interact with businesses has been revolutionised by our use of digital technology.

With the digital world evolving so rapidly, it can be easy to feel left behind or unsure about the options available. What is the best way to attract and interact with new and existing customers? What kind of content should be on your website and social media?

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of opinions and products.

That’s why we’re presenting three digital tourism workshops during Lochaber Ideas Week from November 13 to 17.

These hands-on workshops will give you the latest insight into how digital technology can help your business and let you have a go at using them in a fun, friendly environment.

Run in conjunction with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, the workshops are designed to help ensure your digital presence is working as hard as it can for your business and show you how to use digital technologies to provide a personalised and unique experience for your visitors and engage customers in new ways.

The workshop on Monday November 13 focuses on Google Plus and Google Apps. Our expert presenter will give you the low-down on what Google Plus is and what it can do for your tourism business. Join us on Wednesday November 15 for the essential visual content masterclass looking at the best ways to use photography and video to interact with your online audience.

On Friday November 17, the workshop addresses the future of digital for tourism and looks forward to consider the trends and technological advances that will shape the tourism business of tomorrow.

These courses are always extremely popular so booking is essential. Visit www.lochaberchamber.co.uk for details of all Lochaber Ideas Week events.

We’re committed to helping our members achieve their business goals. If you’d like to join our thriving Chamber of Commerce, which includes the Outdoor Capital of the UK destination group, call us on 01397 705765.
