Michael makes the feathers fly
MICHAEL Strathern from Benderloch Badminton Club won Argyll and Bute Council’s Young Coach of the Year award.
Michael has attended the badminton club since he was eight and started coaching at 13. During his five years of coaching, he has encouraged many young people to take up the sport and has helped produce competitive players at S1 level. Without Michael’s coaching, the club would not be where it is in terms of competitive success and the success of the club overall.
