Douneside House excels at the regional Scottish Hotel Awards

Douneside House, which is owned and managed by The MacRobert Trust, is based within the Trust’s 7,500 acre estate, and was the original home for the MacRobert family. It features 17 acres of magnificent gardens (and is a Royal Horticultural Society partner garden) and offers spectacular views over the Howe O’ Cromar to the Grampian Mountains from its front door.
Each of the 13 elegantly furnished bedrooms, as well as a range of cottages and apartments combines Scottish tradition with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy the state-of-the-art health club or get outdoors with a variety of walking trails, fishing and golf course nearby.
