Harris beach among the best

LUSKENTYRE, on the Isle of Harris, has been named the second best beach in the UK and the 16th best in Europe by TripAdvisor.

The Isle of Harris beach ranks above beaches in locations including Sardinia, the Turkish Aegean coast and Brittany.

Bournemouth beach in Dorset was judged best in the UK, fifth in Europe and 14th in the world.
