the final week of the Lochaber Building Supplies 10-pin bowling leagues at the Nevis Centre in Fort William, Alleycats won the scratch division with 64 points out of a possible 70 followed by The Empire on 60 points and Council on 46 points. Alleycats also won the handicap division with 55 points followed by British Legion Fort William on 47 points and Council on 43 points.

The season’s high scores went to Tommy McKnight (Alleycats) with a scratch game of 216, handicap game of 272 and two-game handicap series of 482 while Ben Weller (The Empire) had the season’s top two-game scratch series with 392.

Alleycats swept the board for the season’s top team scores with a scratch game of 724, handicap game of 921, two game scratch series of 1385 and two-game handicap series of 1775.

The top scratch average of the season went to Ben Weller with 156 followed by Pam Weller (Alleycats) with 152 and Tony Whitelocke (Alleycats) with 150.

In the final week, Tommy McKnight (Alleycats) had the top individual scratch game of 168 and the top two-game scratch series of 305 while Jim Bell (British Legion Fort William) had the top handicap game 240 and the top two-game handicap series of 444.

The best team scores of the final week came from Alleycats who had the top scratch game of 582 and the top two-game scratch series of 1125 while British Legion Fort William had the top handicap game of 818 and The Dominoes had the top two-game handicap series of 1588.
