Slow sessions pick up pace for musicians

Musicians wanting to ease their way into sessions and build up confidence to play with others can get started at a friendly Slow Session club held on the second Saturday of every month at Oban’s Rockfield Community Centre, from 2pm to 4pm.

The sessions usually attract 12 or more people wanting to practice first before joining full-on sessions around the town.

Oban’s Lancaster Hotel has regular Friday night sessions, the first Wednesday of the month is session-night at the Oban Inn and The Barn at Lerags hosts Sunday sessions.
