Part-time Post Office re-opens

THE POST Office has re-opened a part-time outreach service at 23 Shore Street, Portnahaven, Islay.

The restored service was launched on Monday March 19 and is operated by the postmaster from Bowmore Post Office. The service will be available every Monday from 10am till noon.

Customers are able to collect benefits in cash using the Post Office’s everyday banking services or Post Office card account.

Kenny Lamont, Post Office network operations area manager, said: ‘We are confident this outreach service at the heart of the local community will meet customer needs.’
