MEMBERS of the Appin branch of the Scottish Women’s Institute met on Thursday March 15 in Port Appin Hall.

Speaker for the evening was home economics teacher Helen Murray.

Helen demonstrated how to make three delicious sweets: posset, tiramisu and a meringue roulade, all of which members took great delight in sampling.

Helen was thanked for an entertaining evening by Helen Downie.
