KILLIN’S annual community auction will be held on Easter Saturday, March 31, in the McLaren Hall.

The auction starts at 6pm, with viewings available from 4pm.

The event is hosted by local Masonic Lodge members to raise funds for worthy causes in the community and is well supported by locals and visitors.

This year donations include lots from house down sizing and some surprising items.

There is a Cape Buffalo Skull with a horn span of more than three feet, items of antique china and stoneware as well as more modern items and many collectibles.

There are some photos on the lodge web site and on Facebook which show a selection of what is on offer. The wine and ale bar will help the craic and the kitchen will provide snacks and hot drinks.
