Lochside Rovers 3 Aberdour 0

Lochside Rovers had to work hard to notch their first win of the season, beating Aberdour 3-0 at Mossfield.

With Oban Camanachd’s first team match postponed, manager Gareth Evans was able to recall Cameron Sutherland in goal, whilst Daniel Sloss played up front. There was also a place for Daniel MacCuish on the wing ,with Craig MacDougall starting on the bench so it was more like the 2017 Lochside Rovers title winning side.

Aberdour were short of players, so much so that Roddy MacColl came out of retirement to play in goal and regular keeper Tom Bowerman started outfield.
