Fort bank staff get on their bike for charity

-

HEADWAY Highlands Lochaber group has received a donation £423, raised by the staff of the Trustees Savings Bank (TSB) in the High Street, Fort William.

The funds were raised by three members of staff and a friend of the group by pedalling an exercise bike a total of 216 kilometres without leaving the bike. The impressive distance represents the same as cycling the A82 to Inverness and back to Fort William.

The Fort William members thanked the TSB fundraising team of Lynsey MacPherson, Amanda MacDougall, Brian Foster and Tony Weldon.

If anyone with an acquired brain injury is interested in joining Headway Highland, it meets on the first Monday of each month, from 7pm to 9pm, in An Drochaid, Claggan . For more information, call 07748 013507.
