All change at Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface
ARGYLL and Bute Third Sector Interface (TSI) has announced its new top team with the appointment of a new chairman and chief executive.
Jim Hayle is the new chairman of Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface.
Mr Hayle said: ‘I am very pleased to take over as chairman of the Argyll and Bute TSI.
‘John Stevens, the outgoing chairman, has led the organisation very well through a difficult period.
‘With the appointment of our new CEO, I now wish to focus on improving the way that the TSI delivers advice and assistance to volunteers and those organisations providing support in communities across Argyll and Bute.’
The new chief executive is Kirsteen Murray, who joins after a career spanning the private public and voluntary sectors.
From 2016 to 2017, Kirsteen was interim national director in Scotland for Diabetes UK.
Kirsteen said: ‘I’m looking forward very much to developing strong and supportive working relationships with all of our stakeholders in Argyll and Bute – voluntary sector organisations, social enterprises and our statutory sector partners, as well as gaining a deep understanding of what is important to the local communities that we serve.’
With offices across Argyll and Bute, including Oban, Islay, Lochgilphead and Campbeltown TSI helps communities to help themselves through volunteers and volunteer-run organisations. This can be in the form of helping with organisational structure, income generation, charity regulations, sourcing and applying for funding and more.
