POLICE arrested a man, aged 37, after reports he was behaving in an abusive manner at 12.40pm on Tuesday March 27, in Longsdale Crescent, Oban. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
POLICE have launched an investigation after electrical wire was deliberately cut at a building site in Glenmore Road, Oban, sometime between 7am on Tuesday March 20 and 4pm on Wednesday March 28.
AT 5.50pm on Friday March 30, on the A85 near Tyndrum, a silver BMW 116 car was seen to be driven in a careless manner while overtaking other vehicles. The car was stopped by police and the male driver, aged 24, was charged with the offence. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
POLICE stopped a car which was being driven carelessly at 12.35pm on Saturday March 31, on the A82 near to Bridge of Orchy. The black Volkswagen Scirocco was overtaking other vehicles at excessive speed.
Once stopped, the car was found to have an excessively tinted driver's side window. The driver, a man aged 21, was charged with the offences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
AT 6.45am on Sunday April 1, in Dalintart Drive, Oban, a man, aged 52, behaved in an abusive manner and damaged a flat door and a car. He was arrested, charged and held for court. A report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
