Last chance to grab a stall at Charities Day

OBAN’S popular Charities Day takes place in less than four weeks and there are still spaces left for stall holders.

The event will be on Saturday June 2 – two weeks earlier than usual – and organisers, Oban and Lorn Lions Club, don't want anyone to miss out because of the date change. A club spokesman said it has to sort out the scaffolding in advance and need to let the company putting it up how many stalls there will be. They added: ‘We don’t want to turn anyone away, but it’s getting close. It’s only four weeks away, so please, if you want a stall get an application in.’
