Knapdale

A WORKSHOP teaching rural skills will take place in South Knapdale this month.

The free event will take place on Tuesday May 15 and will show participants how to remove rhododendron using edged tools and how to make biochar using a kiln.

It will take place at Ferry Wood, Ardpatrick Estate, off Kilverry Road, near Carse, from 10am until 4pm.

People are advised to bring a packed lunch, hot drinks, safety footwear and outdoor clothes. Safety glasses and gloves will be provided.
