Strongmen flex their muscles at Fort event
A NOVICE strongman competition took place recently with participants getting a chance to show their strength.
The JSW novice strongman event raised more than £700 for the Garry Campbell treatment fund as entrants travelled from Edinburgh, Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Glasgow to join local competitors.
Max lifted the 160kg atlas stone to secure his first place which is a great feat for most strongmen.
Organised by local strongmen Stuart Whyte and Gary Robertson, the fledgling strongman competitors took part in the novice event at the Nevis Bank Industrial Estate on Saturday afternoon.
