Atlantis Leisure summer camps

-

With the school holidays just around the corner, Atlantis Leisure is gearing up to welcome hundreds of children for its popular summer camps.

The camps, which will run for six weeks, will have something for everyone.

The pre-school sessions will cater for children as young as three. The classes will be held twice a week – on Tuesdays and Thursdays – from 12.15pm until 1pm. Children will learn essential agility, balance and co-ordination skills using a mix of fun games and sport-related activities.

The junior multi-sport sessions are aimed at pupils from primary one to three, and run from Monday until Friday from 10am until noon.

The main primary four to seven summer camps run from 9am until 4pm from Monday to Friday. They aim to deliver the ‘ultimate summer experience’, covering multiple sports, games, and arts and crafts.

Children attending the camps will not only receive coaching from experienced instructors but will be in a safe and fun environment where they can make new friends and memories.

Atlantis sports coach Kevin Keen said: ‘Teaching summer camps is something that I look forward to every year.

‘It’s a great opportunity as a coach to do something that is a bit different from my day to day coaching. It’s brilliant to really get to know the children over a much longer time than we usually operate in.’
