EXCITEMENT BUILDS AS M&S OBAN NEARS OPENING

Customers in Oban will be in for a treat when the new M&S Foodhall store opens its doors at the end of August. As well as bringing the very best of M&S food and drink to the area for the very first time, the store will also offer a small range of clothing and home products. These products have been specially selected to meet the needs of customers in Oban and surrounding areas and include items such as women’s lingerie, socks and tights, sun-cream and core kitchen products.

The store will also offer the full range of M&S clothing and home products via its Click and Collect service. Customers can opt for next day pick up if they order by 10pm the night before on M&S.com. Oban will also be the second M&S Foodhall in Scotland to boast a fitting room meaning customers can easily try on purchases in store and, if needed, take advantage of hassle-free returns.

Stuart Mackinnon, store manager at M&S Oban, said: ‘With no other M&S in a one-hour radius, this is a big opening for us. And our new Foodhall will be unique – not only will it stock thousands of delicious food and drink products, but it will also carry a small selection of clothing items and have a fitting room for customers who shop for clothing online and collect in store.

‘We’re really excited about the food products we will be bringing to Oban and can’t wait to share favourites from the in-store bakery with customers. We’re looking forward to welcoming the local community through our doors on Thursday August 30 from 10am.’

The store will be located at Oban Retail Park, Oban PA34 4BW, and will be open from 8am-9pm Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm Saturday and 9am7pm on Sunday.
