Guitar master set for Victory Hall gig

Acoustic guitar master Adrian Nation plays Benderloch’s Victory Hall tomorrow, September 14.

The gig, the latest in the ‘Benderloch Palladium’ series, comes ahead of a performance at Duart Castle, Mull, on Sunday and a tour of Canada and the Netherlands.

His songs have been described as ‘a glorious collision of emotions’ – one of them is entitled Benderloch Stone and concerns an exile in Canada looking for a stone to be thrown in the water for his late father.

Nation made it through to the final of Sky Arts’ Guitar Star in 2015 and last year released his fourth album, Anarchy and Love.

Rock Society Magazine said it was ‘hard to believe there’s only one man on stage’ and Guitar and Bass Magazine described Nation as ‘a superior fingerstyle troubadour’.
