University of Third Age celebrates birthday
Members of Oban U3A celebrated their 10th anniversary at the Corran Halls on Tuesday.
Oban U3A has grown to 120 members and 19 interest groups that meet in various venues since it began.
Groups include various languages, science, geology, wildflowers, outdoor activity groups and many more.
The University of the Third Age is for people of a certain age who are no longer working full time and come together to learn for fun.
Everyone is welcome to attend the monthly meetings, held on the first Tuesday of the month at 10.30am in the Corran Halls.
The group meets to find out what is happening in the U3A and to hear interesting talks by invited speakers.
