Development
All teams put on a fantastic display of open and entertaining rugby that was enhanced by the introduction of Scottish Rugby’s Age Grade Law Trials that clubs around the country will be using this season to improve the quality and increase the development of young players in the game.
As usual Mid Argyll put on a great show with some fantastic hospitality. The next Dalriada festival for mini rugby clubs is hosted by Etive Vikings RFC in Taynuilt on Sunday September 30.
Along with the mini festival, Mid Argyll also hosted Islay, Lochaber and Oban Lorne for 10-aside games at U14 age level. Mid Argyll won all three of their fixtures running in 28 tries in the process.
