Scottish Land Commission holds meeting in Caol

The Scottish Land Commission is holding an informal public meeting to give people across Lochaber the opportunit­y to find out more about the work of the organisati­on and to meet with commission­ers.

The event, on Thursday Deptember 20, is being held at Caol Community Centre, Fort William, at 7pm.

Chairman of the Scottish Land Commission Andrew Thin said: ‘This is one of a series of public meetings taking place across Scotland throughout the year from Kelso to Aboyne, Ayr to Huntly, and we hope to meet as many people as possible.

‘I would encourage everyone to attend and make the most of the opportunit­y to meet with us to discuss the land reform agenda. It is important all voices are heard and we work together to make the most of our land.’
