Saddened by state of disrepair at Pennyfuir

One of the main carved stone pillars at the front of Pennyfuir cemetery has been hit again and, along with the damage to the left of two sections of plinths, it looks in a sorry state of disrepair.

This once grand facade could do with a good lick of paint. It is the first sight for visitors to witness. They must be saddened at the disrespectful state the council seems happy for the families of lost loved ones to see. Stephen Jones, Burnside Place, Millpark, Oban.
