Highland Council says staff from its building standards department have recently inspected the former Lochaber Bar in Caol, following concerns about the exterior of the closed premises.
A council spokesperson said: ‘Building standards has inspected the site and found no evidence of work being carried but found the site perimeter to be insecure and some loose roof tiles.
‘Building standards has contacted the architect who will arrange with his client to have the tiles removed and the site made secure.’
