Your holiday home at Machrihanish Holiday Park – warning: you may never want to leave
Miles of golden sands. World-class golf. Unrivalled scenery. Breathtaking sunsets. Why would you want to be anywhere else? Between March and October every year, you don’t have to be. Owning a holiday home at Machrinhanish Holiday Park means visiting as often and staying as long as you like. BRING YOUR CAMERA Looking west over Machrihanish Bay, Islay, and the Paps of Jura, our park is famous for stunning ocean sunsets, fantastic views and miles of local golden sands.
Nearby Campbeltown’s A-listed buildings, including the newly-refurbished Art Nouveau Picture House, and Campbeltown Loch will keep you snapping. Nature photographers will love spotting wildlife — and the occasional Paul McCartney — on the Mull of Kintyre. TEE UP A DIFFERENT SHOT The opening tee shot at Machrihanish Golf Club, a world top-100 championship course laid out by Old Tom Morris, is regarded as the best there is. And David McLay Kidd’s Machrihanish Dunes recreates the ancient game for a round like no other. Memberships start at just £245 a year – we offer great discounts on green fees at both.
TIME FOR TEA
The Old Clubhouse pub offers excellent food and drink, while the Ugadale Hotel boasts an inviting restaurant and bar, and a luxurious spa. You can also dine in Macrihanish golf club if you’ve played on the course. There’s no shortage of places to eat and drink on the peninsula, from Campbeltown’s world-famous distilleries to the bars, restaurants and cafes offering fine local cuisine.
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Our two- and three-bedroom Swift, Carnaby and Willerby holiday homes have central heating, double glazing and fully-equipped kitchens and shower rooms. With wifi, a launderette and well-stocked shop on site, when we say you don’t have to leave, we mean it.
