Eighteen months into production, Ncn'ean Distillery at Drimnin has 924 casks of organic whisky spirit maturing in its warehouses.

Perched above the Sound of Mull on the Morvern peninsula, Ncn'ean Distillery, formerly called Drimnin Distillery, began work on its first single malt last September and the finished result is expected to be ready in 2020.

The distillery has developed a botanical spirit which is available for sale and marks the first major milestone for the fledgling company.

The hot summer season brought many visitors to the distillery for tours, keeping new visitor manager Amy Stammer busy.
