Reward is offered for Bluebelle’s safe return
The owners of missing moggy Bluebelle, who disappeared from Tobermory on a sailing holiday, are offering a £100 reward for her return.
The two-year-old cat, who was last seen three weeks ago, has still not been found despite desperate attempts by Johanne and Nigel Sim from Tighnabruaich.
At the weekend the couple were planning a return trip to Mull to hand out ‘missing’ leaflets.
On Monday, Johanne reported from Tobermory: ‘Fairly positive sighting by the apartments behind distillery wooded area by river. Across from Ledaig car park.’
She added on the Everything Mull Facebook page: ‘We are just desperate and will try anything to get Bluebelle home. We are happy to donate the reward to a charity of a finder’s choice if that would be preferable.’
Johanne fears Bluebelle may have been inadvertently tempted away from their yacht by mackerel being gutted on another boat in the port.
After three days searching Tobermory streets and other boats, they had to leave without her but the communities of Mull and Oban have been rallying round to help.
Bluebelle was wearing a pink and white reflective collar with bells on it, plus a pink heart-shaped address disc and is microchipped.
